Programme Overview
Bachelor of Social Work programme prepares individuals to become catalysts who respond effectively to the needs and problems of the society with a humane touch. The programme equips students with professional knowledge, skills and capacities and enhances their commitment to work for the betterment of the society. The programme helps students build a basic foundation to help them grow professionally in any field of social work practice they choose to work. A meticulous training will be given with both theory and practical learning experience. The programme helps students to reach out to and serve the downtrodden, marginalized, underprivileged and the most oppressed sections of the society. After the completion of the programme, students can choose to work in any areas of social work practice or make a transition to postgraduate course in Social Work to have a specialized, advanced learning and training.
